And ekstasis

by Noel Jeffs

Thank you to Julie Noreen and Denise Thompson for all their surprises.

 And ekstasis
 is bearing rock
 –truth digesting fiction.
And the lamp of my eye
you are here, and we have
been in transition to a new deed
 and in mastery of salutation
 realism involves the conflict of
survival and we have a new
end in sight which we can only
presage to ourselves and is this
 the end game again
and I realised my desires do lead
to good and wind inflation is a
 good instalment.
We belong to nature and have solid
ground there. It gave me a heartache
 to see her so sweet.
Is to calibrate for an exchange
which I have not got, something
 I need to find.

ekstasis: the state of being beside one’s self or rapt out of one’s self and as the introvert who is reflecting writes in his own style and makes the cadences his own
